After last 3 visits there, I found the draft beers still having an off taste, I've had a different beer each time. I think their taps need cleaning or changing. And the last 2 visits, my meal was lacking something from the previous meals I've had. Maybe they have a different cook. Just nothing special anymore like it use to be.

Food was delicious. Service with Bobbi (Roberta) was just perfect. She was so personable and friendly!!! We sat on the patio and the atmosphere was wonderful. This wasn’t our first visit here but it’s been years. Definitely can’t wait to go back.

Always great food and friendly, fast service. Bartender with the long hair and glasses is awesome. We love this place in Tawas. And notice any reviews referencing slow service took place on HOLIDAY WEEKENDS! For those of you that are not aware, when a restaurant is packed, with a line out the door, your food might take a few minutes longer.

Great spot for food in town. Eat inside or outside by the sidewalk. Classic grill food and daily specials. Fried pickles and fried green beans are a great starter!

Great eats in the center of downtown East Tawas, MI. Very generous portions for somewhat upscale pub food. Large patio is a great place to social distance and enjoy a great meal with adult beverage or other. Establishment appears to be practicing good safe procedures with sanitizing between customers. Face masks required to seat. House made chips are a amazing and a must have. Burgers are Very Good with a very large tender and flavorful patty on a high quality toasted bun. Good selection of burger variations. Wraps, toasted sandwiches all very good and recommended. Grilled sandwich is amazing with tomato/bacon. Classic pub appetizers are good. Guacamole dip just OK not recommended. Service was very good.

There service was good, our waitress friendly and most of our order was good except my Sailor Jack's fish basket which the fish was good but the portions were tiny. My exact comment upon getting my order was "I didn't realize I was ordering minnnows"! If we go again, I'm definitely not ordering the fish as I want more than a snack.

Get to Mr. Jack's when you're in East Tawas! Great food and atmosphere! If you get the chance sit outside and enjoy one of the best people watching experiences ever! Absolutely awesome!

Great food, delicious drinks, wait staff is awesome. One of the better places in town for brew and grub.

We tried a Whitefish dinner and Whitefish fingers. The portions were large, the salad was fresh, the fish was nice and fresh, and the sweet potato fries were complimented by Jack'ss special sweet sauce. They had friendly service, good outdoor seating, and a clean bathroom.

They handle big groups very well. Their cheesy bread was awesome. We also ordered mozzarella sticks. Those that ate them said they were very plain. One person in the group ordered the fish dinner and said the taste was good but very small portion compared to other restaurants. One person ordered the blt and the bacon was crumbled bacon bits but still good. Overall good food, great staff.

My husband and I love this place! They have delicious food, and drinks! Just got married and moved around here and he took me out to a nice dinner I got the delicious blackened chicken salad and potato fries and he got a chicken Cesar wrap. I drank Moscato and he got a Rum Runner and we both loved our drinks and food! And the outdoor seating is very nice and not crowded at all!

At entrance, it was great. Amazing service and clean everything. Delightful. We got our waters, and got fast service from our waitress. Our food was a different story. The fried pickles were soggy, the beef tasted stale and old, and the salads were warm and the chicken in them were luke-warm. There was a hair on the wings. I would only recommend the chicken tenders here.

I got the double bacon cheese burger with fries. Burger was cooked to perfection, fries came out crispy and hot. Wait staff was friendly but it was a bit busy and they didn't keep my glass full as often as I'd like but again they were busy

The food was absolutely delicious, The service from our waiter was wonderful. He offered his insight into the menu and was right on the money with his help. The food was served hot and the presentation was phenomenal. We were very impressed and can't wait to return to try something new on the menu. Fresh food, good service, and a friendly atmosphere. What more could we ask for ? We have recommended Mr. Jack's to all that would listen to us!!!!!

This place is AWESOME! They serve excellent food, the environment is comfortable, the staff is friendly, and there are plenty of TV's to watch while you wait for your food. I would definitely recommend coming here to anybody who digs comfort food and a great atmosphere to enjoy with others, with children, or even by yourself!
